Short answer
Merchant Fund Express funds franchise owners who hold each store in a separate LLC by reviewing the entity that needs the money: its application, its last three months of business bank statements, and ID for each owner. Every structure is available per entity: business loans, merchant cash advances, revenue-based financing, lines of credit, equipment financing and working capital, from $5,000 to $5,000,000. If several stores need funding, apply for each entity. A complete file usually gets a decision in 2–4 hours.
The rule: the money follows the entity
The reviewer reads the bank account that receives a store's deposits. So the company that owns that account is the company that applies. If Store A is in one LLC and Store B is in another, a file for Store B uses Store B's statements, even if you are the same owner on both.
| Your setup | How to apply | Statements to send |
|---|---|---|
| Each store in its own LLC, own bank account | One application per entity that needs funding | Three months for that entity's account |
| Several stores in one LLC, one account | One application for the LLC | Three months for the shared account |
| Holding company owns store LLCs | Apply as the store entity that needs the money | That store entity's account |
| Mixed brands under different LLCs | Apply per entity, name each brand | Per entity |
| Sole proprietor, one store | One application in your name | Your business account |

Common separate-LLC situations
One strong store, one weak store
The strong store's entity can fund its own needs. Keep each file honest to its own deposits.
Opening the next unit
The open store's entity funds what it needs; the new LLC has no history yet. See Second location.
Equipment for one location only
Equipment financing in the name of the LLC that owns the equipment. See Equipment financing.
Payroll run from a management company
Tell the reviewer how payroll and royalties flow between entities.
The full picture for owners with several stores, including mixed brands, is on the multi-unit page.
A worked example
A hypothetical example, not a past transaction: an owner holds three Pizza stores, each in its own LLC with its own account. Store two needs a $24,000 oven replacement; store three needs $15,000 for driver payroll during a slow stretch. Two applications go in, each with that store's statements, and one owner ID. Store two gets equipment financing; store three gets working capital. Store one is untouched.
Keep each store's revenue in its own account. Mixed deposits slow the review because the reviewer has to untangle which sales belong to which store.
What to send
No tax returns to apply. 500+ FICO accepted. Sole proprietors are eligible; Spanish-speaking support and ITIN applicants welcome.
Owner questions, answered
My stores are in separate LLCs. Do I apply once or for each?
Apply for each entity that needs funding. The review reads each entity's own bank statements.
Can a strong store's LLC fund a weaker store?
Each entity is funded for its own needs on its own deposits. Tell the reviewer how money moves between entities so the file reads correctly.
Do I send my ID for every application?
Send ID for each owner. If you are the owner across all entities, the same ID covers you.
Can my new LLC for a second store apply?
An entity with no operating history is not funded on its own. The open store's entity can fund its own needs; see the second-location page.
What if all my stores share one bank account?
Then one application for that LLC, with three months of the shared account, covers them.
